My first post
I wanted a place where my projects could exist outside a repository list. Don't get me wrong, github and other repo platforms work perfectly well for my needs on storing and managing projects, but sometimes I wanna talk about my stuff, share something interesting I found out, make some observations, etc. And even though this is technically possible on Github, it doesn't really feel right, so i decided to make a neocities based on my current desktop environment.
You might have noticed that i love bunnies. I've had a male and a female for about six years of my childhood, and this love reemerged this past year because of a friend who also love bunnies and made me get in touch with my child side, so expect me to make a lot of bunny related projects (or at least some easter eggs)
Why neocities?
I consider web development a job. I've dealt with complex websites and weird frameworks a few times already and i don't wanna have to deal with one more without being paid. I do have my own domain and vps, but neocities will constrain me to a more simple and static website, which will also force me to make my own tools to automate some stuff, like blogging and updating the website (yes i know there are tools for this already, i just wanna make my own).
This would be enough reason for me to choose neocities, but another reason is that i just like the things that are done in here. There are so many wonderful pages from so many talented people. This really inspires me to work on my own stuff and maybe be part of this community.
What do I plan on posting here?
I plan on post project updates, small experiments, tech related bs, and basically everything that peaks my interest. Some posts may be polished posts with hours of preparing but most will be just me documenting something funny before i forget.
So what
I don't know how to finish texts, so expect most of my posts to finish abruptly. This is a problem i had ever since i was on high school, so don't expect this to improve. So yeah, i hope you like it here and make yourself comfortable. There are lettuce on the counter, so you can snack on your way out.
